1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use SettleInn DriveU. By using our services, you confirm you have the legal authority to enter into these Terms.
2. Our Services
SettleInn DriveU provides ride-hailing, moving, and transport coordination services. We connect passengers with independent drivers, and in some cases, with moving or transportation partners. We do not guarantee availability of rides, vehicles, or drivers at all times.
3. User Accounts
To use our services, you must create an account with accurate and up-to-date information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and all activities under your account.
4. Payments
All payments are processed securely through PCI DSS Level 1 compliant processors. You authorize SettleInn DriveU to charge your selected payment method for all ride and service fees. Prices may vary based on location, demand, and distance. Fare estimates are provided for convenience only.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation policies may apply depending on when a ride or moving service is cancelled. Refunds, if applicable, will be issued in accordance with our cancellation policy.
6. Driver & Passenger Responsibilities
Passengers must provide accurate trip details, respect drivers, and comply with laws during rides. Drivers must maintain valid licenses, vehicle insurance, and comply with safety requirements. Misuse of the service, abusive behavior, or unlawful activity may result in suspension or termination.
7. Safety
We prioritize safety and vet drivers in line with industry standards. However, SettleInn DriveU is not responsible for actions of third-party drivers or events outside our control. Users must act responsibly and report any safety concerns immediately.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to misuse the platform for fraudulent, unlawful, or harmful activities; attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt our systems; or harass, abuse, or endanger any driver, passenger, or staff.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and materials provided through SettleInn DriveU remain the property of SettleInn Transport Inc. You may not use our brand, logos, or materials without written permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
SettleInn DriveU is a platform connecting users with independent drivers. We do not control drivers’ conduct. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SettleInn DriveU shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the services.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SettleInn Transport Inc., its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of the services or violation of these Terms.
12. Privacy
Your use of SettleInn DriveU is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and protect your information.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the services at any time, without liability, if you violate these Terms or engage in harmful behavior.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Ontario.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
